Make way for Japan’s most promising female newcomers. May we introduce – „Nemophila“ – The five-piece Japanese heavy metal band with all-female power from Tokyo. They have already made a name for themselves in their home country, before they became known internationally via YouTube. Now they plan to dominate worldwide and they begin today, with the releaseof their new radio single „Rise“.
The roots of NEMOPHILA go back to 2019. Initially looking for musicians to help with „Mayu’s“ solo work, through an old classmate and bassist „Haraguchi-san“ she was introduced to drummer „Tamu Murata“ and guitarists „Hazuki“ and „SAKI“, formerly of “Mary’s Blood”. They quickly realized that they were onto something special and decided to form their band.
In three and a half explosive minutes, the new single „Rise“ bristles with tension and energy. The heavy riffs, massive melodies and futuristic synths will delight fans, who celebrate „Bullet For My Valentine“, „Iron Maiden“ or „Judas Priest“. This year a new album is to be created and a worldwide tour is also planned.
